Chestnut Spread by Clement Faugier
Chestnut Spread is a recipe created by Clement Faugier back in 1885. Chestnuts from Ardeche, France are sweetened along with some vanilla. Chestnut spread is excellent on pancakes, toast, croissants and brioche. Use in your baking including cookies and creme brulee, and add to whipped cream.
