Baked chicken is one of the easiest and most delicious meals you can make. With just a few simple ingredients and some basic cooking techniques, you can create a flavorful and healthy chicken thighs in sauce that your whole family will love.

  • 4 skinless, bone-in chicken thighs
  • Juice from half of a lemon
  • 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • salt & pepper
  • 2 teaspoons dry thyme
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 2 tablespoons of dijon mustard
  • 2 sliced shallots


  1. Pre-heat oven at 370 F

  2. Prepare chicken thighs in a baking dish and add salt & pepper.

  3. Sear the chicken on both sides in a frying pan on medium heat, around 2 minutes per side, until you get a nice brown color. Then, put the chicken back into the baking dish.

  4. Combine the sauce ingredients in a mixing bowl; the lemon juice, olive oil, thyme, shallots, honey and mustard. Mix well, and pour the mixture over the chicken.

  5. Bake for 35 minutes.
