Hey Friends. For this week’s recipe, I’m bringing you a traditional dessert recipe from my country, the Dominican Republic, called Arepa Dulce De Maiz (Cornmeal Coconut Cake) but with some Fall vibes. What is Dominican Arepa? This dessert is a moist, dense and sweet cornmeal cake made with coconut milk, whole milk, cinnamon, butter and raisins, but I’m taking this traditional Dominican arepa to the next level with the addition of Fall flavors like brown butter, pumpkin puree and pumpkin spice mix. I’m also going with a suggestion from my mother by using a combination of whole milk and evaporated milk along with the coconut milk. Check it out.

This is a perfect quick Fall weeknight dinner.

Pressure Cooker Short Ribs is the most mouthwatering and delicious recipe that you will ever taste. The tender, fall-off-the-bone, short ribs have been “braised” in the pressure cooker / instant pot with brandy and Middle East spices. These short ribs are accompanied by mashed pumpkin-cauliflower seasoned only with Black & Bolyard brown butter, and the dish is topped with a runny yolk fried egg, a tangy pickled red onion, and brightened up with lightly seasoned microgreens and Alfalfa Sprouts. This recipe is perfect for an amazing brunch, lunch or dinner. If you eat for dinner this meal pair beautifully with Cabernet Sauvignon.
